In the Beginning...

I have finally switched from swing shift to days! As well as being able to go out among normal human beings from my native time zone, I feel I am ready to get back on the weight loss wagon. I've started back on Weight Watchers and made it to the gym for the first time in months. My ultimate goal is to get down to the top of my healthy BMI, which is 160 lbs. My goal is to be healthier, fitter, and stronger not necessarily skinny, though I am looking forward to wearing smaller pants.

I hope that posting on this blog will be a way to keep me from giving up as easily as I have before and keep me accountable. As an added incentive, I've decided to put $5 aside for every pound I lose. When I hit my goal weight, I'm buying a PlayStation 3 (possibly a PlayStation 4 if this takes as long as I think). I can just see me now, fitter and playing Uncharted 3. I'm so excited!
